Girls Inc. of Blount County
Girls Inc. now offers our intentional researched based curricula in Blount County! We are currently serving Mary Blount Elementary School and Walland Elementary School. Girls Inc. aims to support the girls of Blount County by providing them with unique and individualized experiences. We currently offer two of our curricula and our group mentoring.
Mary Blount: Tuesday (3-5) Wednesday (3-5) Thursday (3:30-4:30)
Walland: Monday (4:00-5:30) Friday (4:30-5:30)

Girls Inc Operation Smart®
A program designed to provide hands-on experiences with math, science and technology. It builds girls’ skills with activities that give girls the opportunity to explore, ask questions and solve problems through projects, games and exploration. (Operation SMART: Helping girls develop enthusiasm for and skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through hands on activities girls explore, ask questions and solve problems.)
Magic Within
Girls learn to set goals for themselves and their futures, make action plans in achieving those goals and build overall self esteem. We work with girls to create open forums to discuss their passions, concerns and needs for their future’s success. We encourage them to build themselves up and learn to advocate for not only themselves but their communities as well.
