Meet Ron’aya , a remarkable 7th grader whose journey with Girls Inc. of TN Valley exemplifies the transformative power of our programs.

When Ron’aya first joined us, she was a quiet and reserved young girl. While she got along well with her peers, she tended to keep to herself and remained guarded. However, it didn’t take long for us to witness a beautiful transformation in Ron’aya as she immersed herself in the Girls Inc. experience.

As the year progressed, Ron’aya began to find her voice. Her confidence grew steadily, and with it, she started building meaningful relationships with both her peers and the Girls Inc. staff. Ron’aya began to open up, participate more actively in our activities, and embrace the supportive community around her.

Ron’aya’s newfound confidence didn’t just benefit her. She took on the role of a mentor, guiding and inspiring several of our younger girls. Through her actions and her growth, she demonstrated the importance of self-confidence and the impact it can have on one’s life and the lives of others.
